Ingredients:
1 medium onion finely chopped
2 green chillies
2 tbsp grated ginger
2 tbsp grated garlic cloves
2-3 tbsp yoghurt
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 thinky sliced green bell pepper
1 tsp red chilly pepper
1 tsp coriander powder
Salt to taste
Oil for tempering
Cilantro chopped finely for garnish
Recipe:
1. Finely chop onion, garlic, ginger.
2. I had batter remaining from the Gobi 65 recipe so I added yoghurt to the batter for this recipe. It actually made the gravy more tasty. If you use frozen batch of Gobi 65 and do not have any spare gravy, you can either skip using it or follow the recipe link here to make the gravy.
3. Mix the batter and yoghurt, add soy sauce. Stir to mix well. Now the mixture is ready. (Tip: in case of no gravy, mix yoghurt and soy sauce and add this mixture instead of the gravy mix as in steps below)
4. To preheated oil add green chillies. I used dried whole green chillies, fresh green chillies can also be used.
5. Saute ginger and garlic till golden brown.
6. Stir fry sliced green bell pepper and cook for 3-4 mins.
7. Add the gravy/yoghurt/soy sauce mix OR the yoghurt/soysauce mix. Mix well.
8. Cook the mixture to boil (about 7-8 minutes) on medium low flame. Add red chilly powder, coriander powder and salt.
9. Add the pre-prepared Gobi 65 fritters to the above cooked gravy and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
10. Garnish with cilantro and lemon and enjoy the spicy, flavorful cauliflower- Gobi Manchurian.
