Punjabi missi roti

Ingredients:
1/2 cup wheat flour
1/4 cup gram flour
1 tbsp ginger paste
1/2 medium onion finely chopped
Cilantro leaves finely chopped
1 green chilly finely chopped
1 tbsp pomegranate seeds (Anardana)
salt to taste
water to knead the flour.

Recipe:

1. In a bowl add wheat flour and gram flour. Mix.

2. Add chopped ingredients and spices, salt.

3. Blend all the ingredients and the flour into a even dough. You can follow how to make the dough in my previous post here. If you do not have pomegranate seeds, use mango powder (amchur).

4. Once the dough is ready, leave it for about 30 mins in the refrigerator before rolling out. Take a handful of dough ball.

5. Roll out into small sized roti.

6. Cook evenly on a preheated tawa on both sides, apply oil or ghee.

7. Serve with melting butter on top with pickles and yoghurt.Enjoy!
