Ingredients:
1 medium chopped onion
300 gram Okra finely chopped
1 chopped green chilly
2 tablespoon ginger
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp red chilly powder
Pinch Asafoetida
2-3 Tblspoon oil
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Wash okra with water, dry the okra by wiping with cloth or tissue. |
2. To preheated oil splutter cumin seeds. |
3. Add chopped ginger. |
4. Roast the ginger till brown. Saute chopped onion. |
5. Add asafoetida, salt, turmeric powder. |
6. To the sauteed onions add chopped okra, cook till the okra softens. Cover the okra with lid if required. Add lemon juice when cooked. Serve with fresh rotis, yummmmy! |
