Lime,ginger and green chilly pickle

Nimbu, adrak teh mirchaan da achaar



Ingredients:

5-6 limes cut into quarters
12-14 green chillies
3-4 inch ginger chopped lengthwise
1 tbsp rock salt
1 tbsp regular salt
1 tsp turmeric powder

Recipe:
1. Cut the lime into quarters, green chilly into halves and ginger thin slices.

2. Add both rock salt and regular salt and turmeric powder. 



3. Mix well. 


4. The lime juice soon starts oozing out as soon as the salt is added. Transfer the pickle to glass jar, leave in sun for 3-4 days until the color of lime skin change from green towards yellowish. Every day mix the contents by shaking the lid closed jar to evenly soak the lemons in lime juice. Enjoy with parathas or with meals.
