Lentil sprouts



Ingredients:

1 cup Mixture of whole lentils- green, brown. 
1-2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 whole onion finely chopped
2 large tomatoes finely chopped
1-2 green chillies finely chopped
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
Oil for cooking 
Salt to taste
Cilantro for garnishing

Recipe:

1. Soak the lentils in water overnight, Drain the water next morning and let them sit on counter for 2-3 days. Give him a daily wash with fresh water 2-3 times.  

2. At the end of 2-3 days sprouts emerge as below. Give them a thorough wash under running water. 

3. To preheated oil, splutter cumin seeds, Add ginger garlic paste, chilly, turmeric. Then add onions, salt and tomatoes. Cook till tender, about 7-10 minutes. Then add the washed sprouted lentils. Add desired water, cover and cook on simmer. Mix intermittently. When the lentils are cooked, add lime juice and garnish with chopped and washed cilantro. 

4. Serve warm as a snack or breakfast.
