Potato stuffed Bread pakora

Ingredients:
Sliced loaf of bread (White or wheat your choice)
1-2 cup gram flour (besan)
1/2 medium onion finely chopped
1/2 finely chopped tomato
1 green chilly chopped
Cilantro leaves finely chopped
1 tblsp grated ginger
1 tsp carrom seeds (Ajwain)
salt to taste
Recipe:

1. Finely chop the onion, cilantro, ginger, garlic and green chilly (optional).

2. Mash boiled cooked potatoes and mix with the above chopped mixture. Add salt to taste, garam masala, amchur powder.

3. To the bread of your choice, first slice in the shape you like and apply mint chutney or if you like spicy you can apply green chilly paste.

4. Apply tomato ketchup on the other slice.

5. Here I sliced them in triangular shape for fun :)

6. Place a small portion of the potato mixture on top of one of the slices.

7. Press down the other slice on top of the potato mixture and we get beautiful tri colored stuffed bread as below :)

8. Take gram besan flour, add salt, carrom seeds, water to make a thick batter.

9. This part is little cumbersome but with practice it gets better. Hold the stuffed bread sandwich and dip in the batter to evenly coat on all the sides. It is ok if small portion of the potato stuffing drops into the batter, that is evident if the bread slices havent been pressed together firmly.

10. On evenly coating the bread, fry in oil and cook on both sides till golden brown. Serve with ketchup or spicy and tangy apple-mango chutney. Have the stuffed bread pakora as a breakfast or with tea.
