Homemade fresh organic strawberry Jam

Ingredients
16 oz box of fresh organic strawberries
1/2 to 3/4 cup Sugar (depending on how sweet strawberries are)

Recipe:
1. Wash, dry and hull the strawberries.

2. I used mixer to make strawberry puree. There are different methods suggested online, I like to keep it simple and quick.  Add the puree to a preheated pan with the sugar. Boil on simmer make sure to stir in between to avoid scalding at bottom. I use the jam within 1-2 weeks so I refrain from using any preservative and keep it natural. Also I have seen no problem for the jam to set, and that is why I did not use lemon juice either. If you intend to make a large batch of jam ensure that you preserve the jam well.

3. Once the strawberry puree thickens the color and the consistency changes to dark red and thick. At that point the jam is done. Let it cool and transfer to clean and dry glass container. Use within 1-2 weeks. Store in refrigerator.
